In contrast to the old stone built Provencal farm houses, La Lisanne is an impressive 20th century bastide built in Mediterranean style and lying in two and a half hectares of aromatic hillside filled with pine trees, rosemary bushes, thyme and other wild herbs.
The accommodation for guests is accessed completely separately from the private family accommodation, giving La Lisanne the feel of a small intimate hotel.

Its graceful curves and well- proportioned rooms provide comfortable and spacious accommodation, all furnished wherever possible with original furniture and objects from the fabulous Art Deco period of the 1930s. The house has been newly renovated and fitted out in luxury style. Many of the curtains and soft furnishings have been made from hand-produced copies of original Art Deco fabrics in keeping with the authentic style and decoration of the house.

La Lisanne offers a choice of five double bedrooms all furnished in authentic Art Deco style and all with either ensuite bathrooms or shower rooms. The decoration and furnishing of the house is a product of our many years’ expertise as antique dealers specialising in Art Nouveau and Art Deco. We hope we have recreated the luxuriant style popular in the 1920s and 30s, combining it with an atmosphere of fun and informality. |
